Lauren, the mixed-media artist behind To the Trees, explores a mix of watercolour, gouache, hand carved stamps, collaged hand painted textures, lino carving and digital colouring to create her works. This illustration was inspired after a trip to Tasmania, bushwalking in The Walls of Jerusalem National Park. It feautures two people walking in the Australian bush, on their journey coming across kangaroos, echidnas, snakes and other native Australian animals.
